The person behind the brand.
The person behind the brand.
I started Westmoore because I was fed up with how transactional and impersonal recruitment had become. Stacks of irrelevant CVs. Volume over fit. Hiring managers handed off between three different consultants who'd never met them.
So I do it differently. Clients work with me — not a rotating team. I take the time to understand the role, the team, and the kind of person who'll actually thrive there. Whether you're a CFO building a finance function or a founder looking for your first marketing hire, I speak your language.

The story
I didn't plan a career in recruitment. At 21, I answered a job advert that asked four questions: Are you loyal? Are you good at talking to people? Are you tenacious? Do you have drive? I thought, that's me. I applied without knowing what a candidate was, what a client was, or what recruitment actually involved.
I learned fast. A ten-week training academy, then the floor. I stayed with that business for eight and a half years, working my way up to leading a high-performing team of recruiters across sales, marketing, engineering, and finance. We hit targets. We did things properly. And I learned what a good recruitment process looks like from the inside — and where a rigid one lets people down.
The turning point came when I became a mum. I was back at my desk three and a half months after having my son, working through COVID, doing whatever it took to keep things moving. It made one thing very clear: the way most recruitment works — fixed processes, fixed hours, one way of doing things — serves the model, not the people in it. The end result should be what matters. The route there should fit the client and the candidate, not the other way round.
So four years ago, I went out on my own and built Westmoore around that idea. One person, start to finish. No handovers, no juniors learning on your vacancy. A process that flexes to fit the role, backed by proper assessment tools I'm certified to use, not gut feel.
Fit over volume. The right person beats the available person. And honesty throughout, even when it's not what you want to hear.
That's the standard. It's in the name.

The difference
The difference
One person, from brief to placement.
When you work with Westmoore, you work with me. Not an account manager who passes you to a researcher who passes you to someone else. I take the brief, I run the search, I sit on the interview panel, and I'm still there on the candidate's first day asking how it's going.
That's not a sales pitch — it's just the only way I know how to do it well. The longer I spend with a client and a candidate, the better the match. I learn your business, your team, the kind of person who'll actually thrive there — not just the one who looks right on paper. And because it's me the whole way through, nothing gets lost in a handover, because there is no handover.
It means I take on fewer roles than a big agency would. It also means the ones I take on, I get right.

Thirteen years in recruitment, focused on four sectors I know properly: HR, Finance, Marketing and Sales. From entry and mid-level hires that build out a team, to the senior and hard-to-fill roles other agencies walk away from.

Psychometric profiling
I'm a Thomas International practitioner — qualified in PPA, HPTI and GIA. I profile candidates for genuine fit, and run the same assessments for existing teams who want to understand how they work together.

Interview expertise
I build competency-based questions and scoring frameworks, and sit on the panel with you. Most clients haven't interviewed in years. I do it constantly.
Recruitment training
I train in-house HR teams and hiring managers on what a good recruitment process actually looks like — so you spend less on agencies for roles you could fill yourself.
What matters to me
What matters to me
Fit over volume. Always.
A few things I won't budge on:
The right person beats the available person. I'd rather send you three candidates who genuinely fit than thirty who pad out an inbox.
Honesty, even when it's not what you want to hear. If a role's pitched wrong, or a salary won't attract who you're after, I'll tell you. That's what a partner does.
Relationships outlast transactions. I'm not chasing a quick fee. I'm building something I want clients and candidates coming back to for years.
Leave it better than you found it. For every candidate I place, Westmoore plants a tree. Growing futures — for the people I place, and the place we all live in.
